1. Information We Store
When you publish a file, DONTCBOARD stores the document in Amazon S3 and stores the page name, file name, file type, file size, storage key, content type, and publication time in Amazon DynamoDB. The app also keeps a browser-local copy in IndexedDB for fallback access.
2. How We Use Information
We use this information to upload, store, retrieve, and display your published documents at the page name you choose. Published pages may be accessible to anyone who has the page address.
3. AWS Services and Access
Document files are uploaded using temporary, signed AWS URLs. Viewer URLs are also temporary. AWS may process and store data as required to provide these services under its own policies and terms. If the cloud service is unavailable, the app may use the browser-local copy.
4. Your Responsibilities and Choices
Do not upload confidential or sensitive information unless you are authorized to do so. Please contact the DONTCBOARD operator if you need a published document or its associated page data reviewed or removed.
5. Policy Changes
This policy may be updated when the service or its data practices change. Continued use of DONTCBOARD after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using DONTCBOARD, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
2. User Content Responsibility
You are responsible for the documents you upload, including obtaining all necessary rights and permissions. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or confidential content that you are not authorized to share.
3. Cloud Storage and Public Pages
Uploaded documents are stored using Amazon S3 and related AWS services, with a browser-local copy used as a fallback. A published document may be viewed by anyone who has its page address. Do not rely on DONTCBOARD as the sole copy of an important document.
4. Service Provision
DONTCBOARD is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Availability, storage, signed-link access, and data retention may be affected by maintenance, AWS service availability, configuration changes, or other circumstances beyond our control.
5. Intellectual Property
All original branding and code belong to DONTCBOARD. Document content rights remain entirely with the respective document owner.
6. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when the service changes. Continued use of DONTCBOARD after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
